The second location of High Cotton Maverick Bar and Grill is “a riverfront rendition of high-steppin’ Southern living in the heart of Greenville’s vibrant downtown”. The challenge for this project came with the location in a new and modern RiverPlace Development on the edge of Greenville’s Reedy River. The large, three-story volume with a curved glass façade was a departure from the historic and charming ambiance of the company’s Charleston locations. The uniquely Greenville result created an intimate, warm restaurant with superb acoustics, vibrant colors, three distinctly different private dining areas while complimenting the high quality food and impeccable service. The architects worked with interior designer Mazie Wiepper of Atlanta to create the edgy, sophisticated environment.
